It takes 8.5 seconds to reach from0-62m/h with top speed of 124m/h. Fuel average of this engine is perfect with 55m/g and Co2 emissions are 115g/km. It is available in six-speed manual and six-speed EDC automatic transmissions with front-wheel drive as standard. Second petrol engine is a 1.6-Litre TEC unit that is capable of 216bhp and 199lb/ft torque. It is quick in response and takes 6.5 second to reach from 0-62m/h. It is a regular petrol engine with four-cylinder and equipped with six-speed automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive as standard. its fuel average is 47m/g along with 135g/km of Co2 emissions.

Diesel Engines

In diesel engines, there are also some very fine and frugal engines available in Clio but 1.5-Litre dci is one of the best with good output. It is capable of 88bhp and 162lb/ft torque. It is not as quick in response as we have in petrol engines but quite reasonable behavior it shows on roads with 11.6 seconds for 0- 62m/h and with top speed of 112m/h. Fuel consumption of this diesel version is marvelous with 90m/g with just 88g/km of Co2 emissions. It is coupled with five-speed gearbox and front-wheel drive as standard.
